DIY: ruffle booty onesie

Turn a plain onesie into fabulous:

What you will need:
Scissors
Fabric glue
A onesie
A spool of lace ribbon

First cut 4 pieces of ribbon, gradually increasing the size of each piece by 1/4 of and inch. (sizes will vary depending on the size onesie you used)

Start by gluing the shortest ribbon onto the back of the onesie
(be sure to measure where you want your ruffles to seat and begin, you don't want it to be too high upon the back or too low onto the bottom of the onesie)

Once you have the first piece glued horizontally let it dry for a about 3 minutes to ensure its securely in place, then lift the lace up and proceed to glue the next piece underneath the lace.

Continue these steps until all of your lace is glued on.
And ta da it's fabulous!

Tips: put a piece of cardboard in between the onesie so you don't end up gluing the front and back together.
Put a small amount of glue down and then put the lace as you glue instead of applying a line of glue across your onesie and then placing the lace on it.

Happy creating!
